4×4 Off-Road Driving Tours & Events

Northeast Off-Road Adventures & Hunter Mountain are excited to offer our 2021 Driving Tours

PUBLIC TOUR ($350) includes your own provided 4×4 vehicle, driver and all passengers.
Enjoy an exciting day driving your vehicle for miles on mountain trails with NORA instructors & guides by your side. This family friendly event does not require any previous off-road driving experience but vehicles must have 4-Low gearing and recovery points. Drive on remote logging trails that include a stream crossing and mud field. Experience a steep hill climb to our scenic 3200′ summit where your group will enjoy spectacular views of the Catskill Mountains.
Arrive at our assigned meeting location around 9am, drivers safety meeting at 9:30am and we are enroute to the trails before 10am. The day includes a lunch break at the summit and concludes around 3pm. Please note the day tour does not include food. Guests are encouraged to bring lunch, snacks and non-alcoholic drinks for the day.
Interested in more off road adventure? NORA offers half and full day driving instruction at our Ellenville training center which is 1.5 hours to Hunter via back mountain roads. Call 845-514-9895 to arrange a discounted private class in Ellenville before or after your Hunter tour.
NORA does not offer rental vehicles for Hunter Tours. Rentals are available at our Ellenville location for onsite classes.
