Learning, Adventure & Fun – This 2-day driving class offers professional training in key areas to improve your off road driving abilities. It includes modules from our Essentials, Getting Unstuck, Vehicle Confidence & Advanced Skills classes. This course will improve your precision driving technique to help you avoid getting stuck, and teach you multiple skills to get unstuck. As an added bonus, this class includes an evening trail ride to experience night woodland driving. A Hunter Day Tour is included, see below.

Virtual Class: 1.5 hours. View a recorded classroom presentation prior to onsite instruction.
Day 1: Ellenville Training Center (10am-5pm) + 1 hour sunset trail ride (7pm-8pm)
Day 2: Hunter Mtn Tour (9:30am-3:30pm)
Who: This class is an excellent choice for anyone wishing to learn safe, low speed off road driving techniques used in Overlanding and recreational/commercial off road driving. This class is for people with experience levels ranging from none to intermediate.
What’s Covered: This two-day class covers 4 wheel drive systems, vehicle control when driving on woodland and mountain terrain, vehicle spotting and vehicle recovery skills with focus on off-road driving safety. A Friday evening trail ride is included. Students drive on our obstacle courses and navigate our 75-acre trail networks with instructors and guides walking by their side. There are plenty of natural terrain obstacles used as lesson stops along the way. Optional primitive camping Friday night is available.  Saturday includes a driving tour at Hunter Mtn Ski Resort.
Vehicle Requirements: Bring your stock (unmodified) or modified 4 wheel drive vehicle with 4-low.  Vehicle must be street legal, registered, insured and drivers must have a valid license.
Vehicle Rentals: Rent a NORA trail rig for the class; contact us to confirm availability before registering.
