Stuck Happens, sometimes at the worst possible time! Our ‘Getting Unstuck’ class helps you learn driving and vehicle recovery techniques to keep moving forward. Students start learning via onsite obstacle course workshops and then drive to locations throughout NORA’s trail network to put theory to practice with instructors by their side. This class consists of two offerings on the same day. Safe use of Tow Straps, Kinetic Energy Ropes and Traction Boards are held in the Basics class in the morning. Hi-Lift Jack & winch safety are the focus in the Advanced class in the afternoon. Training is safety focused with themes of people, vehicle and environmental preservation. To mitigate pandemic risks, your time at NORA is outdoors and in your vehicle. All staff and guests must wear face coverings and maintain social distancing. Our Essentials or Intro classes are highly recommended prerequisites but are not mandatory. Students may bring their own vehicles with 4-Low and front/rear recovery points or rent NORA vehicles for the trails.
