Learning, Adventure & Fun – our ‘Intro’ class consistently delivers all three! This class is a great way to experience off road driving without a major time commitment. Watch a 1-hour recorded presentation covering off road driving technique, skills & tips before your training day. While onsite, you and your instructor(s) put theory to practice on NORA’s natural terrain obstacle courses. Soon after, you are driving on rugged terrain including hills, trees, ledges, rocks and more with lesson stops on the trail. Training is safety focused with themes of people, vehicle and environmental preservation. Your onsite time at NORA is outdoors and in your vehicle. All students must register in advance to attend a class, no ‘walk-ins’ accepted.
Length: 1 hour online recorded presentation + 2 hours on-site
Location: Your email will be enabled to view the online presentation about 1 week before your class. Onsite training is held at our Ellenville, NY Training Center.
Who: This family friendly class is an excellent introduction for anyone wishing to learn safe, low speed off road driving techniques used in Overlanding and recreational/commercial off road driving. This is also a great family fun experience.

Students drive our obstacle courses and navigate a 1 hour beginner trail drive with instructors walking by their side. Onsite terrain includes driving over rocks, tight woodland trails and hill sections.
