NORA’s Overland Excursions are educational, informative and fun! Each trip includes Overland training elements for off road driving & vehicle recovery, cooking and camping. All trips avoid highways in favor of scenic back roads, dirt roads, trails and points of interest, yet each is different as the routes change with each trip. Trips include camping at beautiful park campsites or private venues. Participants are welcome to make their own lodging arrangements if they prefer, registered participants will be given the exact location for each overnight. All of our excursions include stops at places of interest including covered bridges and charming small towns where supplies can be replenished or a restaurant meal can be enjoyed.

This trip is guided by NORA staff and our friends at Exploring New Hampshire.  There will be one base camp and includes a group drive to the summit of Mt Washington. It also has a goal of around 50 miles on dirt & challenging trails each day, weather and terrain conditions permitting.  It is open to stock or modified vehicles with 4-LOW and front/rear recovery points. We also offer another Mtn To Mtn Overland trip in August that includes less challenging trails and is open to both 4WD and AWD vehicles. This excursion includes a pre-class live video call about 10 days prior to the trip.

Length: 3-Day Excursion
Pre-Trip & Starting Location: Registered participants will receive additional details including meeting location and campgrounds.  There will be video call about 10 days prior to the trip for all participants.
Who: This family friendly class/tour is an excellent choice for anyone wishing to experience group Overland travel. Great for adventure seeking individuals, couples and families. This class/tour offers the opportunity to learn about and experience gear used for Overlanding. Includes driving, cooking and camping.
Lodging: Campsite fees are included. Participants may make their own arrangements for local lodging (not included).
Meals: Meals are not included, however there will be at least one cooking lesson where you are welcome to sample the food.
Requirements: Bring your stock (unmodified) or modified 4 wheel drive vehicle with 4-low and front/rear recovery points.  Vehicle must be street legal, registered & insured and have a full size spare tire in good condition. Drivers must have a valid drivers license.
Vehicle Rentals: NORA rental vehicles are not available for this class/tour.
