Class: Adaptive Adventures Sampler
Price: $250 (sale price) for 1 participant and up to 1 participant’s able-bodied guest, lunch included; retail value: $600.
Length: 5 hours: 10:00am – 3:00pm
Methods: Indoor classroom, adaptive woodland off-road trail, marksmanship range, 4WD ride-a-long trail 
Who: This class is recommended for participants with disabilities requiring use of a wheelchair. Participants should have sufficient upper body strength and trunk control to navigate/use a wheelchair for some of the activities.
What: Our sampler program includes up to four activities over a 5 hour period. Each activity is about 50 minutes long and gives our guests the opportunity to enjoy multiple recreational activities at one location. Lunch is included for all participants and their guests; meal orders will be taken a few days prior to the event. You must be registered to attend.
1. Grit Freedom Chair Woodland Ride: Team NORA is excited to have representatives and equipment from Grit Freedom chair at our Aug 28 event. This activity includes hands on experience operating the chair and navigating a flagged course and a woodland trail ride. Staff from Grit will be on-site to answer questions about their products, sales and potential funding support for your own Grit Freedom Chair.
2. Action Trackchair Woodland Ride: Team NORA is excited to have representatives and equipment from Action Trackchair at our Aug 28 event. This activity includes hands on experience operating the chair and navigating a flagged course and a woodland trail ride. Staff from Action Trackchair will be on-site to answer questions about their products, sales and potential funding support for your own Action Trackchair.
3. Off-Road Ride-a-Long: Enjoy an off-road low-speed ride-a-long as your NORA guide drives you in a NORA Jeep through our natural terrain trail network including steep uphills, downhills, rocks and ledges. Experience an adrenaline rush at 3mph!
4. Air Gun Marksmanship: Practice your marksmanship skills at our air gun range under the supervision of NORA staff. Equipment, targets and ammunition is provided and a safety briefing is included.
