NORA Overland Training Excursions!
NORA now offers family-friendly, multi-day driving & training excursions that include interesting locations and premier properties in the Northeast. We are excited to partner with our friends at Exploring New Hampshire to offer small group travel through a collection of public and private trails. These trails are not hard-core rock crawling, however, trail conditions may require some technical driving skills and possible vehicle recovery which are treated as learning experiences led by NORA instructors. Training modules and day activity options are included on certain days.

2024 Multi-Day Overland Excursions
Dates: 6/26-30, 7/10-15, 8/7-12, 9/13-16, 10/11-14
Trip Name: Mountain to Mountain (Wed Jun 26 – Sun Jun 30)
The trip will begin on dirt with a night ride at NORA Ellenville (NY) and Summit trails at Hunter Mountain Ski Resort (NY). From there we will head east and travel through scenic Vermont, including plenty of dirt and Class 6 roads (i.e. trails). We’ll cross the border into western NH and enjoy some NH Class 4 roads before heading over to the White Mountain region of NH. The group will have the opportunity to ascend Mt. Washington via the Auto Road or Cog Railway (your choice!), as well as drive along the iconic Kancamagus Highway, view covered bridges, waterfalls, and more. This trip includes Overland related presentations and has options for camping or lodging.
